Platform tennis has experienced a resurgent growth in popularity at CCY in recent years and newly renovated courts are ready for play!

The CCY Platform Tennis community is proud of its reputation as an “entry point for new and younger,” members to quickly assimilate into CCY club life and enjoy the related social activities and camaraderie unique to the platform enthusiasts.

Current programs include Sunday morning pickup games, the Tuesday night B League, and Thursday night A League play. The A & B league play involves competition with ten Baltimore area clubs, culminating in championship play that concludes in February each year. Some of our players are also regularly involved in American Platform Tennis Association (APTA) tournaments at the regional and national levels.

In 2010, court improvements were completed, including new substructures on courts #1 and #2, new snowboards on all three courts, and new lighting. All courts were also resurfaced with additional grit and paint for increased visibility and safety.

These improvements will further enhance the enjoyment and playability of our platform facilities and encourage continued growth in its popularity.
