Practice Area Rules

The Practice Areas are considered an amenity for the membership and there is no fee for any member hitting balls. Anyone using the Practice Areas must abide by the following set of rules:

· Appropriate golfing attire, as outlined under “Golf Attire” within the rules and etiquette are expected of all players using the Practice Areas.

· Practice balls are not to be removed or borrowed from the Range under any circumstances.

· Players are reminded to hit from the designated teeing area only. Do not hit practice balls from the tee to the Chipping Green.

· Players are not to go forward of the immediate teeing area to retrieve their “missed” shots, or any other balls lying in the field.

· Practicing is discouraged on the golf course. Practice that impedes pace of play or causes damage to the golf course is not permitted. The Golf Professional may sanction special practice sessions on the course.

· Players may not hit balls before the opening times or after the closing times.

Practice Area Hours of Operation

March 16 – April 15 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

April 16 – May 15 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

May 16 - Aug. 31 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sept. 1 – Sept. 15 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Sept. 16 – Sept. 30 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Oct. 1 – Oct. 15 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Oct. 16 - Nov. 15 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Nov. 16 - March 15 Closed

*Practice putting green will remain open until the spot lights are turned off.

Off-Season Hours of Operation:

March 16 – April 15 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Weather Permitting)

Oct. 16 – Nov. 15 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Weather Permitting)

Nov. 16 – March 15 Closed

*The Practice Areas will close one hour early on Sunday Evenings for maintenance. There may be the need to close early on other nights, these closures will be posted.

In Season Practice Areas Opening Time:
Mondays 10:00 a.m.
Tues. - Friday 7:30 a.m.
Weekends and Holidays 7:15 a.m.

*The Golf Staff will notify the membership with weather related delays for opening.
