Dress Code and Policies
Ladies and Gentlemen 17 years and older shall be properly attired by the following guidelines:
Formal Dress (Black Tie or Black Tie Optional Affairs)
Men: Appropriate formal Black Tie attire.
Women: Ladies may choose formal or cocktail attire.
Business Attire
Men: Classic business suits, shirts and neckties for gentlemen.
Women: Classic business suits, pants suits, dresses, skirts and jackets for ladies.
Country Club Casual Dress
Men: Shirts: dress, golf, tennis and platform tennis collared shirts, banded collar (crew or V-neck), turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks. Outerwear: jackets, blazers, sweaters, vests, athletic windbreakers, warm-up and golf rain suits. Pants: slack, shorts, athletic attire per the specific sport's dress code.
Women: Dresses, suits, pants suits and skirts. Tops: blouses, shirts, golf, tennis and platform tennis collared shirts, banded collar (crew or V-neck), turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks. Outerwear: jackets, blazers, sweaters, vests, athletic windbreakers, warm-up and golf rain suits. Pants: slacks, shorts, athletic attire per the specific sport's dress code.
Denim is acceptable when dining in the 19th Hole, South Patio, or Main Lounge.
The above dress shall be considered the minimum standard in the designated areas as applicable unless changed by a Board approved function.
Cellular Phone Policy
Cellular phone use on Club property (excluding the parking lot and locker rooms) will be restricted as follows: Phones must be in "silent" or "off" position.
Smoking Policy
The Country Club of York is a SMOKE FREE facility on the main floor and above.
